Over a year ago when I was testing recipes instead of going to uni, and telling my friends and family “I’m not going insane!” after asking them “what should I name my Irish-Chinese Takeaway?”, I really didn’t know what the future was gonna look like.
Then, on the 17th of March last year, we somehow opened up for our opening party and the support was incredible. (ty @brorritos_uk for saving the day🙏) Now, when I think back to that day, a year between us, it’s just mental to think of everything we’ve done and the support we’ve gotten.
I owe my life to everyone who’s helped us out, and of course, to everyone that’s ordered our food. We’ve done collabs with the likes of @brorritos_uk and @whitemencantjerk, been mentioned in @thetimes and @britishgq, have had some of the best days of my life with pop ups at @londonirishcentre. Our favourite food creators came and left us great reviews such as @nasti_2k and @aton_of_food. We moved into our new kitchen, started delivery with @deliveroo and started selling Chicken Fillet Rolls. We cant thank everyone enough for their support in making this possible. Out of everything this year, the thing I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built. Such an amazing group of people who make work not feel like work (I’m sure they’d say the same…). Thank you so much to the team and everyone who’s been apart of it over the year🥹❤️Cannot wait to see what this year brings
